3 Part-time 7 hours ago Full Job Description In order to build an active pool of qualified applicants to perform various assigned duties, to maintain security and safety of students, employees, and visitors on the Clarkesville, Blairsville, or Currahee Campuses, North Georgia Technical College is accepting applications for Campus Police Officer, Part Time.
Applications will be reviewed on an as needed basis.
Applicants must be proficient in Windows applications:
Word, Excel, and job-related software programs.
Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing effectively with the public.
This position requires a Background Check, Driver History Report, DOT Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol test, Fingerprinting and the position shall be subject to Random Drug/Alcohol testing.
Duties include:
Patrol campus; ensure security of doors, windows, and gates Direct traffic during special events; provide security for events Position requires knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations; ability to handle crises according to established guidelines; ability to complete reports; knowledge of basic computer skills; and ability to work a flexible schedule Microsoft Office experience, ability to write comprehensive reports Ability to prepare case files for prosecutor's office Conflict Resolution Minimum
Qualifications:

Certified Georgia Police Academy (Corrections, Juvenile and Probation Certifications do NOT qualify for these Positions.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
