Unicoi State Park & Lodge is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Food & Beverage Server to provide exceptional customer service to customers.
As our Food & Beverage Server, you would be responsible for taking food and beverage orders and delivering them efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Attend to customers' dining needs; take orders, serve food and beverages, and answer questions about the menu, ingredients, and specials- Provide a positive and upbeat attitude towards customers, creating a welcoming atmosphere- Ensure that all food and drinks are produced to high culinary standards- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food to customers- Upsell food and beverage options to customers such as appetizers, specials and desserts- Continuously monitor dining spaces, ensuring that tables are cleared and clean for incoming customers- Ensure a clean and organized dining area before, during and after service- Maintain knowledge of health & safety policies and procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment- Process cash and card transactions in an accurate and efficient manner- Work collaboratively with the kitchen manager and other team members to ensure that customer expectations are met
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent- Possess excellent communication skills, with a positive and outgoing demeanor- At least 1 year of relevant experience in food & beverage service- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environments- Proficient in using POS systems and other technology relevant to food & beverage service- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 25 lbs)- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays- Familiarity with local and state regulations regarding food and beverage service is a plus Recommended Skills Communication Customer Service Occupational Safety And Health Passionate Stress Management Interpersonal Skills Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
