Certified Nursing Assistant provides various personal care and related paraprofessional services in accordance with an established plan of care. Provides for the personal needs and comfort of patients in their homes, which may include (but are not limited to):
Assistance with ADLs & IADLs (Personal care assistance, light housekeeping, meal prep, errands)
Performs patient-specific activites taught by nurse (Assist with change of ostomy appliances, reinforce dressings, assist with prescribed ROM exercises, measure/prepare special diets, taking vitals, apply external catheter)
Qualifications
CNA, CPR certified, Negative TB/PPD test or Chest X-Ray, Vaild driver's license and auto insurance, HS graduate or equivilent
6 months experience as CNA in healthcare (in homes or facilities) preferred
Clean background & driving record
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the jobEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
