Manager of Facilities Operations

RequirementsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides direct supervision of maintenance supervisor, general maintenance technicians and grounds and common area team members.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma required
College degree or trade training in the engineering discipline preferred
Minimum of four years of experience in Resort Operations, the hotel/motel/timeshare/resort or related industry with three -five years in a supervisory role.
Requires 5-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area and must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a broad range of maintenance fields.
Effectively write and speak English
Minimum 3 years leading front line staff
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
HVAC, CPO preferred
May require certain current state certification or licensing
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to demonstrate leadership, thoughtful decision making, effective communication, accountability, interpersonal skills, and an ability to influence, build and maintain positive and professional internal and external business and HOA relationships.
Must have a strong comprehension of operating and retail (where applicable) budget and reserve development, compliance, inventory purchasing control, negotiation and management of service contracts, renovation schedules, annual unit maintenance and service from all required outside contractors.
Must have a strong focus on leading others, growing and developing a high performance team and inspiring a culture of excellence while successfully influencing and partnering with company leaders outside of the resort operations group (Sales, Marketing, Inventory and Rental Management, Brand Delivery, Finance, IT, HR, Brand Services, Purchasing, etc.).
Ability to troubleshoot problems and repair all types of facility systems.
Must be familiar with fire, life safety systems.
Must be knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures associated with industry and company standards.
Must be able to efficiently navigate through TSW, Asgard, Ving, Microsoft Office and other applications.
Must promote, support and uphold the values and culture of our organization and the brand.
Must possess a complete understanding and compliance of our brand and reliability standards, operational processes, policies, training, and employee motivation.
Must be able to follow written instruction and complete documentation associated with villa and building maintenance.
Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license, and minimum of 4 years of driving experience.
Strong demonstrated written and verbal communications skills in English required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Will be required to bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and operate office machinery.
Must be able to lift up to thirty (30) pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The majority of work will be performed in a climate-controlled environment, but may be exposed to inclement weather and varying degrees of temperature on occasion.
Some travel (5%) required for consultation and training events
WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS:
Schedules will vary depending on business needs, and may entail working nights, weekends and holidays. Must be flexible to work outside of normal departmental operating hours.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
